01
Check against the approved work
Review the sign from normal customer viewpoints and compare the delivered artwork with the approved version. Record visible damage, incorrect wording or unfinished items with the responsible supplier. Technical installation and electrical checks belong with the qualified people responsible for that work.
02
Review the website as a new customer
Open the public address on a phone and verify the business name, services, location and contact options. Check that an unfinished preview page is not the link being shared. If opening hours or dates remain uncertain, do not publish guesses merely to fill a field.
03
Test one authorised enquiry
Arrange a labelled test with the receiving team and confirm both receipt and the visitor’s next step. A WhatsApp draft must still be sent by its user; opening the app does not confirm delivery. Make sure the business knows who responds to each route after opening.
04
Close out with an action list
A handover can contain accepted work and clearly recorded outstanding items. List each item, its owner and the agreed next action. Collect care information and website account ownership details. This is more useful than a single “all complete” message that conceals unresolved responsibilities.
